The Deal with Parking
Mon. night Sen. Josh Michaels brought up the issue of parking. As you know UMBC will be getting a new Arts and Humanities building, which will take up parking spaces.
Emails have been sent out to inform students that forums regarding parking have been scheduled on
- Wednesday, 2/3/10, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the UC Ballroom.
- Thursday, February 4, 1-2 p.m., University Center Ballroom
- Friday, February 5, 12-1 p.m., Lecture Hall 7
There was discussion on how to minimize the frustration and confusion with parking in addition to the forums – setting up some kind of system to let students know where to park, such as to tuning into UMBC’s radio station (WMBC) on the way to school.
